Paul Leonard Newman (born January 26, 1925) is an Academy Award, Golden Globe, Cannes Award, and Emmy Award-winning American actor and film director. He is the founder of Newman's Own, a food company of which all profits and royalties are donated to charity.[1] As of May 2007, these donations have exceeded $220 million USD.[2] On May 25, 2007, Newman said he wants to retire from acting at age 82.
